Small Business Saturday: Shipping

Lets talk about dreaded shipping!  If you ship larger or heavier items for your business, you know that shipping can be VERY expensive.  If you are part of Etsy, you have been subjected to the recent changes with free shipping made to the site.  While Etsy does offer cheaper rates for their shipping, I often found myself not seeing any discount on larger or heavier items.  Then one day while scrolling though Etsy forums in the shipping section I stumbled upon a thread that would end up being a life safer for shipping!  In this thread I was introduced to Pirate Ship.  Pirate ship is free to sign up for and it pulls different rates to give you the cheapest and shows you how much you are saving!  On smaller items I haven’t seen much of a difference, but for larger items, it’s been a game changer!  They also allow you to sync to Etsy and can pull your open orders to run rates for you so you don’t have to worry about copying and pasting the right info.
